By using the Website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You should not use the Website if you do not agree with this Privacy Policy or any other agreement that governs your use of the Products or Services.

Section 1 – Data You Provide to Us

When you enroll as a Learner on our Website 2, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you provide to us. 

Account Data

In order to use certain features (like enrolling in a course), you need to create a user account. When you create or update your account, we collect and store the data you provide, like your name, email address, password, and IP Address and assign you a unique identifying number. 

Profile Data

You can also choose to provide profile information like a photo, headline, website link, social media profiles, or other data. Your Profile Data will be publicly viewable by others. 

Shared Content

Parts of the Services let you interact with other users or share content publicly, including by posting reviews on a course page, asking or answering questions, sending messages to students or instructors, or posting photos or other work you upload. Such shared content may be publicly viewable by others depending on where it is posted. 

Course Data

When you enroll in and take courses, we collect certain data including which courses, assignments and quizzes you’ve started and completed; your exchanges with instructors, teaching assistants, and other students; and essays, answers to questions, and other items submitted to satisfy course requirements. 

Student Payment Data

If you make purchases, we collect certain data about your purchase (such as your name and zip code) as necessary to process your order. You must provide certain payment and billing data directly to our payment processing partners, including your name, credit card information, billing address, and zip code. For security, Website does not collect or store sensitive cardholder data, such as full credit card numbers or card authentication data. 

Data About Your Accounts on Other Services

If you access or use our Services through a third-party platform or service, or click on any third-party links, the collection, use, and sharing of your data will also be subject to the privacy policies and other agreements of that third party.

When you provide us with personal information via the Contact Form on Website 1 or to become a Learner on Website 2, make a purchase, or participate in the course, you imply your explicit consent to our collecting your personal data and using it for that specific reason only. Mailchimp is our third party provider for email services. You always have the right to unsubscribe at any time.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your explicit consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

After you opt-in as a Learner, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at [email protected]. All contact correspondence is held confidential.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.


Section 4 – How Your Data is Used

Our Learner’s course and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allows us to sell our Products and Services to you. Your personal data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

We use the data we collect through your use of the Websites to: 


Section 5 - Payments

If you make a purchase on Website 1 or 2, we use a third party payment processors Stripe and Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. 

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our Website and related courses and its service providers.

The providers include Wordpress, Askimet, WordFence Security, SEO Ultimate, PayPal, Stripe, Thinkific, Mailchimp, Blubrry, iTunes, Google Analytics, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, Zoom Video Conferencing, Green Geeks Website Hosting, Dropbox, Quickbooks, 10to8.com Online Booking Service, and SiteLock Website Security.


However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
